Closed - We're sad to announce that on June 5th, 2025, a fire broke out at Mr Happy, meaning that it is closed until further notice. Located on Avenida Damero, west of the main square in Isla Holbox, Mr Happy is a laid-back breakfast and brunch spot known for its fun, retro-inspired style, and soundtrack vinyls spinning in the background. This relaxed spot on the island opens daily from morning until mid-afternoon and has is a favorite among visitors looking for an easygoing spot to ease into the day.

The menu includes comfort classics and Mexican dishes, with waffles, bagels, eggs on sourdough, and French toast, as well as chilaquiles, molletes and more. You can also find smoothies, fresh juices, kombuchas, and a selection of coffee options. Everything is served in this open space designed for long mornings and relaxation - whether on the cushioned sofas or at one of the tables in the colorful interior. Mr Happy is a casual meeting point for those who aren’t in a rush in Isla Holbox.
